Life has been a whirlwind lately. If you’ve ever felt like everything around you is shifting and you’re just trying to keep up, you’re not alone. At 19, I’m stepping into a new chapter filled with changes that have challenged me in ways I never expected. But instead of hiding from it, I’m choosing to document every moment—raw, real, and unfiltered. This is my story of jumping back into creating content through videos, podcasts, blogs, and more. I’m beyond excited to share this journey with you all!

Why I Decided to Start Documenting Again

For a while, I stepped away from sharing my life online. Life threw some curveballs, and honestly, I needed space to figure things out. But now, I feel ready to open up again. Documenting my life isn’t just about posting pretty pictures or viral videos. It’s about capturing growth, struggles, and the little wins that make this journey worth it.

Starting fresh with a new YouTube channel, TikTok, Instagram, and this website feels like a fresh breath of air. It’s a way to hold myself accountable, stay creative, and connect with people who might be going through similar stuff. Plus, it’s fun to experiment with different formats like podcasting and blogging, which I hadn’t really explored before.

What Life Changes I’ve Been Going Through

At 19, life isn’t just about school or work anymore. It’s about figuring out who I am and what I want. Here are some of the big changes I’ve been navigating:

  • Moving to a new city for college and adjusting to living on my own

  • Ending some friendships that no longer felt healthy

  • Starting new relationships and learning how to communicate better

  • Managing mental health and finding ways to stay balanced

  • Exploring new hobbies and passions that I never had time for before

Each of these changes has been tough but also eye-opening. Documenting them helps me process what’s happening and see how far I’ve come.

How I’m Documenting My Life Now

I’m mixing things up with different platforms and formats because I want to capture my story in ways that feel authentic and fun. Here’s what I’m doing:

  • YouTube: Sharing vlogs about my daily life, challenges, and adventures. I want these videos to feel like a conversation with friends, not just content for views.

  • TikTok: Posting quick, real moments that show the highs and lows of my days. It’s a great way to connect with people who get it.

  • Instagram: Using stories and posts to share snapshots of my journey, from cozy study sessions to spontaneous road trips.

  • Podcasting: Starting a podcast where I chat about life changes, mental health, and creativity with guests and solo episodes.

  • Blogging: Writing longer posts like this one to dive deeper into my thoughts and experiences.

Trying all these formats keeps things exciting and lets me reach different kinds of people. Plus, it’s a creative outlet that helps me stay grounded.

What I’ve Learned So Far

Jumping back into documenting my life has already taught me a few important things:

  • It’s okay to be vulnerable. Sharing struggles doesn’t make me weak. It actually helps me connect with others and feel less alone.

  • Consistency beats perfection. I don’t have to post every day or have everything figured out. Showing up regularly, even with imperfect content, matters more.

  • Community is everything. The support from friends, followers, and fellow creators makes this journey feel less scary and more rewarding.

  • Growth isn’t linear. Some days are amazing, others are tough. Documenting both helps me appreciate the full picture.

These lessons remind me why I’m doing this and keep me motivated to keep going.

What’s Next on This Journey

I’m excited to keep exploring new ways to share my story and connect with you all. Some goals I’m working toward include:

  • Collaborating with you guys based on what YOU want to see

  • Experimenting with different podcast topics and formats

  • Perhaps starting a Book Club if anyone is interested?

  • Building a supportive community where we can all be real and grow together

I want this space to be a place where anyone going through change feels seen and supported.
